Franklin Rae win Magic Light contract

Franklin Rae has been appointed by Magic Light to handle their B2B PR in the UK and US.

Magic Light’s key brand is The Gruffalo, from the best-selling series of books written by Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Magic Light runs a large licensing programme for the brand, with over 40 licencees and 250 products at market both in the UK and internationally – including in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Scandinavia and Korea. 

The agency has been tasked with working to raise the profile of Magic Light as the people behind the brand and to build the B2B profile of the brand in the UK and USA to grow the success of The Gruffalo in the States.

Account director Richard Ware will be running the account.
