FT Media desk changes
Salamander Davoudi, currently biotechnology correspondent, is taking on the role of media correspondent from 1 September.
Davoudi will cover UK and continental Europe, alongside Ben Fenton who takes the new title of senior media correspondent.
These changes follow Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson’s move from the FT’s London office to New York.
Edgecliffe-Johnson retains his role as the FT’s media editor but is now covering media in the US.
He told FeaturesExec: “My primary focus is media, with other colleagues taking prime responsibility for telecoms and personal technology (Paul
Taylor) and for the west coast IT industry (Richard Waters, Kevin Allison and Chris Nuttall in San Francisco).”
