FT’s Sevastopulo moves to Hong Kong
The Financial Times’ former pentagon and intelligence correspondent, Demetri Sevastopulo, is now the FT’s Asia news editor.
Sevastopulo was previously based at the Washington bureau where he covered defence, intelligence, terrorism, homeland security and US foreign policy.
As Asia news editor, he is currently based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for the Financial Times newsgathering operation throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Former Asia News Editor, Kevin Brown has moved to take the post of Asia news correspondent based in Singapore.
Brown’s new role includes covering Singapore and Malaysia for the newspaper and FT.com and writing more generally about the Asia region, with a special focus on the ASEAN countries, Australia and New Zealand.
