Go Trail magazine relaunches

Go Trail, the online trail running magazine has relaunched, and introduced paid-for subscriptions.

According to the publishers the relaunch is as a result of the growing interest in trail and ultra-trail running globally; the relaunched title will switch its focus to the culture and lifestyle of trail running to reflect this.

Currently celebrating its 10th issue, this purely digital publication will move away from flash-based online publishing platforms to create a fully integrated, HTML-based magazine.

“We wanted to create a unique new look that was engaging for both our readers and stakeholders” says Go Trail founder and editor James Hallett. “With the new format, we’re able to include much more rich media and social networking elements directly into the pages of the publication, allowing us to create a “3 dimensional” online magazine experience, something we believe goes above and beyond the traditional editorial component. For the advertiser it’s an opportunity to not only visually showcase brands and products, but also to engage with their online community.”

Having been a free publication for its previous 9 issues, the 10th relaunch issue will be available via paid-for subscriptions. Readers will be able to sign up and pay for their subscriptions directly from the Go Trail website, allowing them to create a user account and gain exclusive access to all issues including “special edition” issues and back issues.

More information on the title will be available on FeaturesExec shortly.
