Inaugural DLA Piper Media Awards
DLA Piper recently hosted its first inaugural Media Awards at its London offices, celebrating the achievements of the best City journalists, as voted by the UK employees of DLA Piper.
Office Managing Partner Lord Clement-Jones presented the awards to journalists in the categories of Professional Services, City, Emerging Markets and Young Journalist of the Year.
The Financial Times was the main winner of the evening as Brooke Masters was given the Best City Journalist award whilst Alexandra Stevenson won the Emerging Markets category. Alex Spence from The Times took home The Professional Services Journalist of the Year Award, and the DLA Piper Young Journalist of the Year was Lucy Tobin from the London Evening Standard, who’s recently been made the Olympic City Correspondent.
