Knitd.com, a web app which allows writers to promote and sell their content to consumers, is being launched by Blokely founder James York and his business partner Richard Sams in the new year.

Content creators such as journalists, publishers, bloggers and brands can create a content stream with their own "handle". Writers can  choose when and what they publish, as well as setting price points including paid, free and tipped.
