Mail on Sunday MD to join Global Radio

Global Radio has appointed the Mail on Sunday and Mail Online’s managing director, Stephen Miron as chief executive.

He is to run its network of 90 stations, which includes Classic FM, Heart and London’s Capital 95.8 and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the radio group.

Miron, who has been at Associated Newspapers for 20 years, will work alongside Richard Park, who becomes group executive director in addition to his role as director of broadcast.

A start date has not yet been announced.
