Manchester launch for NME Radio

NME Radio officially launched in central Manchester yesterday.

Until 7 December, the station will broadcast from the same frequency of its London FM counterpart, 87.7FM.

Sammy Jacob, managing director of the entertainment and arts station, aims to “provide the city with a true alternative to the mainstream’ with the launch”.

NME Radio features interviews, music news, festival and gig reviews as well as indie music.
