The winners of the Gurgle Blog Awards 2011 were announced on Thursday 8 September 2011 during an awards ceremony hosted by Myleene Klass at the Soho Hotel in London.

The Gurgle Blog Awards celebrate the best in parent blogging from across the UK. There are eight categories overall as well as a special award called The “Mothercare loves…” award, voted for by Mothercare which names its favourite blogger.

This year, Pippa of A Mother’s Ramblings took home the award for Overall Best Mummy Blog, whilst Katie of Mummy, Daddy and Me Makes Three won the Best Funny Mummy Blog award. The Best Daddy Blog award was given to Alex of The Daddy Diaries.

The winner in each category was chosen by the general public whilst the top five blogs in each category were selected by an expert judging panel, consisting of Nifa McLaughlin, Noella Dixon, Scarlett Brady and Gurgle awards ceremony presenter Mylene Klass.
