The agency’s first task has been to undertake a UK pet census to highlight the depth of the nation’s love affair with pets as diverse as rats and chinchillas. It has enlisted TV vet Emma Milne as brand ambassador.
The social network aims to capitalise on the growing trend of pet lovers creating social media profiles for their animals. Research by the website reveals twenty percent of pet owners post pictures of their pets on social networks at least once a week.
