Newham Recorder editor to leave
Colin Grainger, editor of the Newham Recorder, is to leave the publication in a restructure.
Grainger, who has been at the paper for the past 40 years, is to step aside when the paper merges with the East London and Docklands Advertisers. Malcolm Starbrook, editor of the Advertisers, will take control of the Recorder.
As part of the merger, the papers are set to be redesigned, increase their pagination and increase the size of their dedicated news sections.
In addition, the Stratford edition of the Recorder, as well as the free Express edition, will no longer be published.
