Now magazine launches Smart Girls Fake It

Now magazine has launched a skin safety campaign, sponsored by Superdrug's Solait sun care, called Smart Girls Fake It.

The campaign, which originally ran in the Summer of 2012, will be promoted in the IPC Media magazine with editorial features, social media channels, as well as advertorials and print and digital display ads.

A tour around four urban beaches in major UK cities will aim to raise awareness of skin cancer and how to stay safe in the sun. The campaign will kick off with a launch party this month in London.

Now magazine editor Sally Eyden said of Smart Girls Fake It; "while there is a very serious message at the heart of our campaign, it is designed to be cheeky, fun, and ultimately let young people know that they don't have to put themselves at risk to have a healthy glow this Summer".
