Tangerine PR has been appointed by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to implement a six month, fully integrated PR and social media campaign, aimed at raising awareness of the outcomes of calling 999.

The campaign – designed to educate the public that a 999 call doesn’t necessarily always need an ambulance or result in a trip to hospital – will profile six roles which form part of the emergency ambulance service, under the title #Team999.

The six roles set to be profiled include: emergency medical dispatcher, specialist paramedic on the urgent care desk, resource dispatcher, rapid response paramedic, an ambulance crew consisting of a paramedic and emergency medical technician, and the hazardous area response team (HART).
