The Rugby Blog, The Cricket Blog and The Football Blog now have a new parent company: Front5 Ltd.

The company is based in Heythorp Street in London, and headed by director, and editor of The Rugby Blog, James Hutchison.

The blogs cover news, events, reader debates and opinions in their respective areas and are written by sports journalists. Front5 aims to launch three other sites, including the re-launch of The Betting Blog.

Hutchison said: “Our audience is growing exceptionally quickly, and with major events coming up, including the British & Irish Lions Tour and The Ashes, as well as the enduring popularity of football, this trend looks set to continue.”

The Football Blog will be added to FeaturesExec shortly.
