Penman to leave The Sunday Herald

Stephen Penman, deputy editor of The Sunday Herald, is leaving in April to join North Lanarkshire Council as head of corporate communications and marketing.

Penman has been with The Sunday Herald for almost eight years and was sports editor of the paper until July when he was appointed deputy editor.

A replacement has not yet been announced.
