Celador Radio Broadcasting has bought Play Radio’s Hampshire and Winchester licences.

Play Radio UK has owned the frequencies, 107.8 in Southampton and 107.2 in Winchester, since June of last year. The sale takes the company out of administration.

Before this, the station was owned by Town and Country Broadcasting and known as Radio Hampshire, merging with Dream 107.

The stations will continue in their current format for the forseeable future.
