Practical Caravan has appointed Nigel Donnelly as editor.

Donnelly was previously deputy editor of the magazine. He replaces Carl Rodgerson, who after seven years at the title has taken a fresh role with Haymarket Network, the group’s customer publishing division.

Donnelly will be joined at Practical Caravan by former Practical Motorhome staff writer, Mark Bigault, who has been appointed as Features Editor.

Donnelly said: “It’s an honour to be taking over as editor of such a prestigious magazine. Carl leaves the magazine in great shape, and I’ve got plenty of ideas to continue the work he started.”
