Punch Communications has launched a 'No CV' campaign, which disregards CVs as part of its latest recruitment drive.
Over the next month, candidates are being asked to enter a series of challenges to illustrate their dynamism, aptitude, industry understanding and written skills. The agency is asking candidates to visit the Punch Communications’ website and answer a ‘no CV’ brief which reflects the agency’s cross section of disciplines. Budding candidates have been asked to submit ideas for an integrated campaign for fictitious brand ‘teamgeek’ and the launch of an exclusive range of #teamgeek t-shirts.
Pete Goold, managing director and founder of Punch Communications, said: “The role of a PR professional is changing to include search and social media, which means the way we recruit new talent needs to reflect this. Therefore, we are encouraging people currently looking for PR, SEO or social media jobs to show us their worth and submit a creative campaign idea for a scenario the Punch team have devised.”
