Radio stations change to Heart
A number of radio stations in the East of England have been renamed this week.
Nine stations owned by Global Radio will now be known as Heart as the company looks to expand its market share.
Stations such as SGR Colchester will now be known as Heart Colchester and Q103 is to be called Heart Cambridge.
As well as new names, the stations will now feature 14 hours of networked programming a day, including a mid-morning show with Toby Anstis and evening shows with Simon Beale and Matt Wilkinson. Local news bulletins have been cut with updates broadcast from 6am to 9am and 4pm and 7pm during the week.
