Future Publishing has announced that Xbox World, the unofficial Xbox magazine, has had an extensive redesign.

The new double-sided cover-disc now includes an exclusive monthly gaming show – Xbox World TV – an hour long show presented by the experts behind the magazine. It will feature interviews, trailers and reviews with in-game footage. On the reverse-side there will be HD trailers, the Xbox world podcast and downloadable wallpapers.

Throughout the magazine there will now be QR codes which can be scanned using the Xbox World app for access to related content and exclusive video. The magazine has also been given a new look and cleaner structure, as well as a new section – ‘Upgrade’ – which guides readers on how to find hidden game content.

The first redesigned issue is available from 1 September 2011 priced at £4.99.
