On 10 Jan 2008, The Times Higher Education Supplement relaunched as Times Higher Education.

The omission of ‘supplement’ from the title denotes the fact that the magazine is published independently and is no longer a supplement of another title.

The relaunch offers readers legal and career information as well as an expanded appointments and promotions section. The new website will merge with the old one and is now free. It will also provide exclusive teaching, career and legal advice which will not be available from the magazine.
