Response Source Zeitgeist – your guide to what journalists want

By Staff

27th July 2010

Category: Trade

The Response Source Zeitgeist looks at journalist enquiries from the last seven days to pick out the themes that journalists are concentrating on.

In this week’s analysis we’ve seen Christmas appear three times more often than in early July, with 18 enquiries mentioning it in some way.

Pets and animals, especially dogs, also made themselves heard this week.

Books are always popular, whether for quoting expert authors or for review pages and competitions but there was a particularly strong showing this week with the word appearing four times as often as in our last analysis.

On the business side, mortgages and recession appeared several times, but so did industry, so all is not doom and gloom.

We’ll be refining the Response Source Zeitgeist section over the coming months, looking in more depth at individual categories and over longer periods of time. What would you like to see us look at? Get in touch on with your suggestions or questions.
