Roath hyperlocal website launches
A hyperlocal blog for and about Roath in Cardiff, Wales, launched last Friday, 23 September.
Roathcardiff covers Roath news, what residents in the area are up to and interesting events going on in and around the community.
The site will also be promoting local events, venues and businesses and is home to the Roath Social Media Surgery and Roath 4am Project.
The team behind the site are Roath residents Matt Appleby, Geraldine Nichols and Huw Thomas, who also runs @roathcardiff on twitter.
Huw commented: “We’re planning to cover news from and about Roath, arts and culture, food and drink, reviews and features of Roath people. We have lots of guest posts already lined up and we’re hoping more people from the community will want to contribute as the blog grows.”
