Salisbury based Sarum PR beat off competition to win the Best PR and Marketing Campaign at the annual Document Management (DM) 2011 awards.

The DM 2011 award winners were announced at a ceremony attended by several hundred people from the DM industry at the Hotel Russell in London on 29th September 2011.

Now in its fifth year the DM awards aim to recognise and reward business excellence across all sectors, private and public. Entries are open to organisations that feel they are working smarter than their competitors to create a business edge. Entrants may nominate their own organisation or a third party for an award.

Sarum PR, founded by Carina Birt, has been delivering IT PR services to software and services companies globally for more than 16 years. The agency won the award for Best PR and Marketing Campaign, which celebrates the campaign that Sarum conducted on behalf of its client Easy Software to launch two new products, EASY Contract™ and EASY Records for HR™.

Sarum PR was also representing three clients at the DM awards – EASY Software, Kainos & Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust and Actuate Xenos – each of whom took home a category award.

Next on the award calendar for Sarum PR is Kainos and its customer The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust who are finalists in next week’s EHI Awards in London on Thursday 6th of October.
