Sentinel Sunday is to close, the last issue will be on 30 September.

The reason for closure is due to disappointing circulation and it is unlikely any redundancies will be made as a result.

Many of the popular features from the Sunday title will be fitted into sister daily paper The Sentinel.

The Sentinel and Sentinel Sunday are published by Staffordshire Sentinel News & Media, a part of Northcliffe.
