Serco Docklands reappoints Flagship Consulting

Flagship Consulting has been reappointed by Serco Docklands, the operator of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) which serves Docklands, Greenwich, Lewisham and East London.

The agency will continue to manage the ‘growth marketing’ consumer PR campaign, targeting local residents and commuters, with the emphasis being placed on increasing off-peak passenger journey numbers.

The campaign will use a mix of traditional and social media methods to highlight the range of attractions, activities, events and venues that can be reached using the DLR; and encourage those already on the network to use the service in other ways.

Managing director Jackie Murphy says, “Flagship Consulting has been working with Serco Docklands for more than eighteen months, generating regular coverage in the local press for projects such as Discover London’s Real Views and Discover Lunchtime Runs…Central to [this] campaign is positioning DLR as a convenient means of exploring this vibrant, exciting and ever-changing part of London”.
