Shoot scores weekly frequency

IPC is to increase the frequency of Shoot to weekly.

The move from a monthly to a weekly titles comes as the magazine increased its circulation to 35,830 copies, an increase of 7.1 percent on a World Cup year in 2006.

The move to a weekly follows Shoot’s successful redesign and repositioning in September 2007 which saw the magazine introduce a raft of new editorial franchises.

Editor Frank Tennyson says: “The feedback we’ve received since the changes has been fantastic – readers can’t seem to get enough so what better time to give them more! The weekly frequency is a natural home for what we hope will be the fastest, funniest, most exciting football magazine in the market.”

The move to a weekly frequency will see the magazine on sale every Tuesday.
