Dog rescue charity Jerry Green Dog Rescue has taken on Shooting Star PR to raise its profile and support its fundraising following a competitive pitch.

Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR has been appointed to handle all the publicity and PR for the charitable organisation, which rescues, cares for and rehomes abandoned and unwanted dogs at five centres across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.

The agency’s directors, Kate Strawson and Jez Ashberry, are both dog lovers and both own rescue dogs themselves – something Jerry Green Dog Rescue says was an important consideration.

The charity today launched its Love Us, Love Our Dogs campaign for Valentine’s Day, urging people to donate a shoebox filled with toys and treats to their local Jerry Green Dog Rescue centre.
