Smoking Gun has been appointed by FTSE 250 company Provident Financial to work on PR campaigns for Satsuma Loans, the short term loan business aimed at helping people in the non-standard lending market to access online finance.

Satsuma offers short term loans between £100 – £1000 and customers can pay back the money weekly or monthly.

The agency will work across owned, earned and paid media channels to help amplify the story and educate various stakeholder groups including end users, the media and the trade.
