Sociagility has been appointed by the University of Reading to advise on its social media strategy.

The consultancy project will be led by Sociagility co-founder and University alumnus, Niall Cook. Cook was previously worldwide director of marketing technology at WPP Group consultancy, Hill & Knowlton, and is the author of Enterprise 2.0: how social software will change the future of work.

University of Reading director of development and external affairs, Shaun Horan, said: “The higher education sector faces a more competitive environment, nationally and internationally. Sociagility will help us improve our in-house capability to engage positively with students, alumni and partners via social media and networks.”
