Jargon PR has today been appointed by SocialRetail.co.uk, an innovative retail consultancy, to raise its profile throughout the UK media.

The brief involves focusing on the business, retail and marketing media to promote SocialRetail.co.uk’s unique auditing process that examines how effectively retail businesses utilise social media, indicating ways for improvement, increasing foot-fall and driving local sales.

Pete Doyle, founder and managing director of SocialRetail.co.uk, said: “Jargon PR’s innovative and creative approach, combined with great knowledge of social media and an extensive network of contacts throughout the business, retail and marketing press, is the perfect recipe for growing the SocialRetail.co.uk brand throughout the UK.”

Simon Corbett, managing director and founder of Jargon PR, said, “SocialRetail.co.uk is an exciting business at the bleeding edge of social media within the retail environment. The decline of the British high street is well documented; we aim to position SocialRetail.co.uk as the answer to this problem.”

The account will be lead by Simon Corbett and supported by account manager Laurel Davis-Lyons and account executive Paul Scanlon.
