A group of Dorset-based community newspapers, the View From series, has been bought by Hertfordshire business owners Jerry and Rosemary Ramsdale.

They have acquired titles in Lyme Regis, Bridport, Beaminster, Dorchester, Weymouth, Chard, Ilminster and Sid Vale as well as the View Online website.

The newspapers will continue to be based in offices in Lyme Regis.

This follows the recent sale of View From Blackdown Hills and four other View From titles to Tindle Newspapers last year.

The View From titles circulate monthly within the border areas of Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

The series will be added to the FeaturesExec media database shortly.
