Spreckley Partners takes to the water to launch Dashwood Boat Club
Spreckley Partners has been appointed to handle the PR for lifestyle clothing brand Dashwood Boat Club.
The brand was founded by retail expert Richard Cross, bringing over 14 years experience of working for companies such as Selfridges, Jack Wills, Pukka Clothing and La Martina UK. It will be supported by Olympian ambassadors Alex Gregory and Vicky Thornley, who model the debut range.
Commenting on the appointment, Mischa Joslin, senior account manager at Spreckley Partners explains: “We are incredibly excited to be launching this new addition to the lifestyle clothing market. Following GB’s success at the 2012 Olympic games, rowing has never been more popular, while the extensive history behind the culture of this sport provides an ideal foundation to create something that is more than just a fashion label – rowing is a way of life, and Dashwood looks set to capture this unrivalled dedication and commitment.”
Cross adds: “Dashwood’s collection expertly combines style with heritage – creating a brand that’s both easy to wear and evokes an immediate identity for those looking to become part of the club. We are delighted to be working with Spreckley and can’t wait to launch the brand to market. We have a bold strategy for expansion and Spreckley’s work will be integral in achieving our goals”.
Dashwood Boat Club launches in mid-late March.
