Subeditors Ed Thornton and Tom Brooks-Pollock leave Progress

Ed Thornton, former subeditor at Progress, is now a reporter with the Church Times.

Tom Brooks-Pollock, another former subeditor with the monthly publication for Labour party members, will be starting at Manchester Evening News on 4 October. Brooks-Pollock has previously worked for The Independent and the Catholic Herald.

Progress continues to be edited by Robert Philpot and Richard Angell with Adam Harrison subediting and managing ProgressOnline, Progress’ website.
