Telegraph promotes Hope

Christopher Hope, home affairs editor of the Daily Telegraph, is being promoted to the new role of Whitehall editor.

Since joining the paper in 2003, Hope has had a number of roles including business correspondent, industry editor, home affairs correspondent and home affairs editor.

Tom Whitehead, who is currently home affairs correspondent at the Daily Express, has been appointed by Telegraph Media Group to replace Hope.
