The Independent unveils a new look today, including a new pullout comment and features section called Viewspaper.

The redesign and relaunch will be supported by a marketing and advertising campaign and has been described by Simon Kelner, the paper’s editor in chief, managing editor, and acting editor as “radical”.

Kelner is editing the Independent on a temporary basis after former editor Roger Alton announced his resignation earlier this month.
