The Rugby Blog launches GrassRoots microsite
The Rugby Blog has launched GrassRoots, a microsite dedicated to coverage of the lower levels of UK rugby, at www.therugbyblog.co.uk/GrassRoots.
It will feature stories from clubs, schools, charities and other organisations.
Editor James Hutchison said: “We often receive emails from various parts of the rugby world telling us about their event, their team, their community work or their recent competition triumph, and, until now, we felt that we haven’t been able to provide them with adequate coverage to support the development of the grass roots game. We shall rely on our readers to continue to keep us up to date with their news, and our readers can rely on us to support their good causes.”
The Rugby Blog is part of a portfolio of sports blogs from Front5, which also includes The Cricket Blog and The Football Blog. The latter will be added to the database shortly.
