The Superyacht Group has launched The Superyacht Owner magazine.

The five times yearly publication is designed to educate, inform and guide owners through ownership time whilst being a source of inspiration on the possibilities of ownership.

Steered by managing editor Lauren Barker, it will feature profiles, interviews and contributions from yacht owners, revealing personal experiences and handing over valuable lessons learned, including reports of inspirational or unusual itineraries to the Arctic or remote exotic islands. Practical topics will also be presented from how to generate revenue from chartering to features on how to save time and money on administration issues such as taxation and crew costs.

The pilot edition is out now in advance of the full launch in January 2012. The web portal at www.thesuperyachtowner.com, which is to be launched in tandem with the magazine, will eventually fully complement the magazine with current, topical and opinion-based reporting. A private forum will also allow subscribers to share their views with other owners.

The Superyacht Group’s print division also publishes SuperyachtDesign and The Superyacht Report.
