Travel Channel launch new Food Tripper TV series

Travel Channel is launching a new TV series called Food Tripper, based on the food and travel website Foodtripper.com

Helen Hokin, founder and editor of Foodtripper.com, will be a producer and presenter of the series.

The series, like the website, will combine cutting-edge food trends with off-beat food history and culture. The first in the series will air on 23rd March 2011 and will cover Taiwan. There will also be shows covering five other destinations.

Travel Channel is available to Sky subscribers on channels 251 and 252.
