Star magazine has appointed Abi Smith as TV editor.

Smith replaces Karen Hyland, who has joined The Sun.

Star magazine is a weekly title published by Express Newspapers (Northern & Shell). It is aimed at the ABC1 30-something woman. It covers fashion, beauty, spas, travel and TV and entertainment.
