Two Media Wales weeklies close

The Neath Guardian and Port Talbot Guardian print their final issues today, Thursday 1 October.

The weekly newspapers, which serve the West Glamorgan region in South Wales, were closed by the Media Wales division of Trinity Mirror due to falling sales.

The Media Bulletin reported last week that three other Trinity Mirror weeklies, the Wrexham Chronicle, Mid-Cheshire Chronicle and Whitchurch Herald, are to also close this week.
