Former head of press at Lime Pictures, Gill Bowker, is setting up Umbrella Public Relations, a boutique public relations agency based in the North West.

Umbrella Public Relation’s will benefit from Bowker’s industry experience by focusing predominantly within the creative industries, offering media relations, event management, artiste management and online PR.

One of Umbrella’s early wins is management of the PR brief for Cassie Lomas Make Up Academy in Manchester, focussing initially on its launch on 25 November. The Academy, owned and managed by celebrity makeup artiste Cassie Lomas and ex-Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost, will offer a variety of bespoke courses for budding makeup artistes.
