North west PR agency Viva has created a dedicated sports arm, Viva Sport, on the back of its work with two Barclays Premier League football clubs and two legends from the world of motorbike racing.

The firm, which is run by former sports journalists Tony Garner and Andy Neild, recently helped Aston Villa launch the club’s new home and away strips for the 2010/11 season to mark the beginning of a multi-million pounds sponsorship deal with FX Pro.

Viva were also assigned to promote a critically-acclaimed UK chat show tour, called Foggy and Whit: Givin It Gas, which featured four-times World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty and ex-British champ James Whitham.
