SkiBeginner.com, the website for novice skiers has launched at www.skibeginner.com.

The site is edited by Matt Guarante, who also edits Jet Magazine.

SkiBeginner.com will contain in-depth resort guides for the beginner and improver, tips on what to expect, videos on basics like how to put skis on and how to snowplough, practical advice about travel, accommodation, learning, skiing for kids, what kit to buy, and even a glossary of ski terms. A forum, called the Bootroom, will help anyone get answers to nagging questions and ease any fears or concerns about skiing.
