Winners of the 2012 BSME Awards announced
Magazines and websites including GQ, Mr.Porter, Wired, Digital Spy and MOJO were honoured at the British Society of Magazine (BSME) Editors Awards that took place last week at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Property Week's editor, Giles Barrie, was a double winner, claiming editor of the year in the business and professional magazines (weekly) category, and his magazine was recognised for its campaign, "UBM Built Environment, for Site Life". Barrie picked up the prize in the same week that he announced he is leaving Property Week after 10 years as editor to join communications company FTI Consulting.
Other winners include Country Living's Susy Smith, who scooped the award for editor of the year for lifestyle magazines & digital titles, whille Phil Alexander from MOJO was named top editor for entertainment & celebrity magazines. Additionally, Dylan Jones, editor of the Condé Nast title GQ, won editor of the year for men's magazines.
