Women’s editor leaves Blackpool Gazette

Elizabeth Gomm, women’s editor at the Blackpool Gazette, has left her role after 26 years at the paper.

Gomm has left to dedicate more time to helping a children’s charity, Children of Watamu, which she has been associated with for the past five years.

She will also set up a PR consultancy next month and be working as a freelance journalist specialising in real life and human interest features. Elizabeth can be contacted at elizabethgommpr@yahoo.co.uk.
