The Wool Record, a magazine for the global wool industry, is to be re-launched in September with the new name Twist.
The new title will extend distribution to retailers and designers across the world, in addition to the core manufacturing readers. Twist will launch with the tagline ‘The International Magazine for Luxury Fabrics, Yarns and Fibres.’
Editor Jonathan Dyson said: “The wool industry is more keen than ever to promote this widely misunderstood fibre to a generation of fabric and fashion buyers encouraged to buy cheap – ie. cotton and synthetics. Twist will explain the properties and benefits of wool, and position it where it belongs among other luxury fibres like cashmere and silk.”
