Yorkshire Post appoints city editor

The Yorkshire Post has promoted Ros Snowdon to city editor.

Snowdon was deputy to the previous city editor, Eric Barkas, who left in January.

Other changes on the YP’s business desk include the departure of business reporters Ian Briggs and Kathryn Moore, both have moved on to Yorkshire business news website thebusinessdesk.co.uk.

The Yorkshire Post is currently interviewing for these positions and has also yet to fill the business editor role, left vacant by David Parkin last year.
