Ben Fishwick appointed Editor at Newsquest’s Southern Daily Echo
Newsquest has appointed Ben Fishwick as editor of the Southern Daily Echo in Southampton to replace Gordon Sutter who retired earlier this year.
Ben previously served as chief reporter at The News (Portsmouth). Ben joined The News in 2012 as the Gosport patch reporter before taking on the court and crime beat. He was appointed chief reporter in 2017 with a wide brief including news desk.
Ben will start his role at the Southern Daily Echo on 10 January 2022.
