Changes at the Guardian Weekend

The Guardian

Guardian Weekend magazine has made staff changes and added several columns as part of its redesign:

Elena Ferrante continues her weekly column, about life, love, and the female experience.

Coco Khan is now writing Adult Learner, charting her attempts to grow up.

Sharmadean Reid, Entrepreneur and Founder of WAH nails and beautystack.com, has started a work/life advice column called Bossing It.

The Balance is a column focusing on how high-profile, busy people organise their lives, from sleep through food, fun, work and family.

The Guardian Family supplement content now appears in Weekend magazine. These pages will include a regular feature on anything from parenting to relationships, as well as Annalisa Barbieri‘s column, the regular feature A Letter to… and The secret to… which will provide advice on everything from how to survive an affair to living with grown-up children.

Steve Chamberlain will continue to look after all family content.

The following staff changes have also taken place:

Ruth Lewy is now Deputy Editor. She was previously Assistant Editor for the publication. Ruth will be working across all aspects of the magazine.

Martha Hayes is now Acting Commissioning Editor and is the best contact for all interview requests as well as for The Balance, which features high profile people talking about how they organise their life.

Melissa Denes remains Editor.

Abigail Radnor remains Features Editor, looking after features, book serial and author interviews, as well as the Experience column.
